Block Printing Art Workshop with Lauren Adams
Sunday, August 30th | 1:00pm to 3:00pm
In this workshop, Green Bluff neighbor and artist, Lauren Adams will introduce the basics of block printing.
Lauren will cover the various different materials and processes used to create traditional relief prints and give you the opportunity to make your own original print! No experience is need and all materials will be provided. There will be design ideas available if needed however bringing your own creativity is highly encouraged!

Spokane Audubon Society and their volunteers with event sponsor, CarMax, will be at Wildland to install bird strike prevention on the outside of the patio windows!

Mend It Cafe with Spokane Zero Waste
Mending is Free for everyone!!
It’s simple, bring clothing and/or household textiles in need of repair (limit 2 items per person), you’ll be paired up with a mender who will fix your items.
Do you miss wearing your favorite t-shirt, hoodie or dress? Do you have a favorite pair of jeans you just can't wear because they're a little too revealing? Maybe you have a tablecloth or pillow cover that needs a little love? We've got you covered. PLUS bring your family and their clothes to be mended and your pet’s clothes too!
Mend-It Cafe exists to repair textiles as a way to keep them out of the waste stream, save you money and the planet's resources. So gather up your items and head over to Wildland Cooperation and get mended!
Mend-It Cafe is a project of Spokane Zero Waste and is run by a stellar group of volunteers.
